Training for Nonprofit, Community and Local Government
As a nonprofit organization established over
22 years ago, the Institute of HeartMath has acquired a unique understanding of the many challenges people face and developed a variety of science-based solutions for improving their lives.
We live in an era of reduced funding and increased demand for services, and this means promoting staff resilience is an essential strategy for maintaining organizational effectiveness, productivity and well-being.
Based on extensive research into the physiology of optimal performance and resilience, the institute has developed the following highly specialized and effective training programs for the staff of nonprofits, local government organizations and those they serve:
The Resilience Advantage™
Skills for Personal and Professional Effectiveness
Through HeartMath’s Qualified Instructor Program, individuals and organizations are licensed to train staff of nonprofits, local government, community and social-service agencies in the Resilience Advantage Program.
The core of the program comprises easy-to-learn self-regulation tools and resilience-building practices that help individuals increase physiological and emotional balance. Some people refer to this balance as a state of simultaneous relaxation, readiness and revitalization. Others call it active calm. Learning to use these skills will enable staff to consistently function with more focus, composure and effectiveness. Among other benefits you will realize are lower health-care costs.
Simple Tools for Renewing Yourself in These Stressful Times
HeartMath’s De-Stress Workshop is a practical, down-to-earth program that teaches people in the community skills for de-stressing and bringing more balance and ease into their daily challenges, communications and relationships. Individuals and organizations are licensed through HeartMath’s Qualified Instructor Program to train individuals who otherwise may not have access to HeartMath’s advanced self-regulation tools and techniques.
Staff of nonprofit organizations, local government, community and social-service agencies, and independent trainers, are eligible to provide this program.
