Letters of Gratitude

It is a fact of this life that some are born with or develop debilitating disabilities and diseases and live with great stress and other conditions that try, as has been said, our souls. The Institute of HeartMath understands this and cares.

This holiday season as we approach the new year, the collective heart and compassion of all IHM staff and members of the HeartMath Community go out to all people who may be experiencing pain and suffering of any kind.

Letters of Gratitude Two recent letters of gratitude for HeartMath services are among the many communications that inspire everyone with the Institute of HeartMath and Global Coherence Initiative to work hard every day to improve lives.

From Mark of Spokane, Wash.

"I am a frequent visitor to your site and have joined the Global Coherence Initiative (GCI). I wanted to share something with you. I have Tourette’s syndrome, and it has gotten worse over the years. I am now 55 years of age.

Listening to the music while navigating around the Globe (in GCI’s Global Care Rooms) has had a positive effect on my Tourette’s. I actually show very little or no symptoms of my Tourette’s during my sessions and they have actually allowed me to get more in touch with my Heart, which has enabled me to better control my Tourette’s syndrome. I also take less medication to control the verbal tics associated with Tourette’s syndrome."

The Global Coherence Initiative, a project of IHM, "is a science-based, co-creative project to unite people in heart-focused care and intention, to facilitate the shift in global consciousness from instability and discord to balance, cooperation and enduring peace."

From Jacqueline of Brea, Calif.

"I’ve been out of work a long time and could only donate $10 for the membership (to the Institute of HeartMath), but hope to secure a job in the near future and be able to order some items from HeartMath.

HeartMath is one of my favorite things, and I’ve been a fan for nearly five years, reading things from the website, but today something told me to join with a membership. I am ever so grateful the membership was on a sliding scale. I especially love the videos, which are beautifully done and so inspiring; I share them with friends."

Individuals who are interested in becoming members of the Institute of HeartMath can learn more at Become a Member. IHM’s annual membership contribution sliding scale ranges from $10 to $100, and is intended to make HeartMath’s services accessible to everyone.
