  • May 10 – 11, The Children’s Mental Health Conference, Linking Forces XVII, The Doubletree Hotel, Miami Airport Convention Center. Jeff Goelitz will be co-presenting with Kathy Lawrence of SEDNET. The conference offers a comprehensive view of children’s mental health issues which address innovative strategies for high risk groups, creative partnerships, and advocacy efforts.   • May 18, HeartMath Workshop: "Transforming Stress / Transforming Lives" at Stanford University, Palo Alto, CA. Bruce Cryer will present this workshop which is open to the public. This high impact program provides simple, proven tools and technologies that can be implemented in real-time to reduce stress and help retrain the human stress response to healthier, more productive function.   • June 8, registration closes for two IHM licensing training programs: The Resilience Advantage™ Qualified Instructor Program (for staff of nonprofits, social service, community and local government agencies) and The Resilient Educator® Qualified Instructor Program for educators (pre-K – 16) and educational consultants. The event is from July 27 – 30. These are highly effective 3½ day license trainings that gives staff the tools necessary to boost performance, improve relationships and strengthen resiliency. There are two tele-mentoring training sessions prior to the main training event. It will take place at IHM Research Center, Boulder Creek, California.   • June 24 – 27, NASBHC: National School-Based Health Care Convention, Albuquerque, NM. Annual event with over 800 child and adolescent health providers. Lynn Bakken of Metro Community Provider Network in Englewood, Colorado, will present her findings from using HeartMath practices with her clients.   • July 13, registration closes for the HeartMath Interventions Certification Program July 27 – August 24, a clinical program delivered via webinar, designed for licensed counselors, psychologists and social workers who want advanced training on adding HeartMath tools and technologies into their therapeutic work with student/clients or patients.   • July 16, registration closes for HeartMath De-Stress Workshop™ Qualified Instructor Training, July – September.
