Nourishing the Heart

HeartMath is showing up in new places all the time. Institute of HeartMath President Sara Childre and Quantum Intech Inc., President and CEO Deborah Rozman recently began writing a weekly column, Nourishing the Heart, on www.care2.com, which has an online community of more than 15.8 million.

Nourishing the Heart shares "simple ways to nourish your heart with tips and tools to de-stress from the heart and to enhance your well-being," Childre wrote in the debut. Also, look for a new vegetarian recipe from Childre every other week.

It’s important to release stress as we experience it, Rozman wrote recently in Nourishing the Heart. Otherwise, "stress still accumulates in our body, affecting our communications, our decision-making and our health." Read more in Rozman’s Use Your Heart to De-Stress column.

emWave2

emWave®2

If you haven’t heard the news yet, emWave2 arrived in the spring.

The emWave2 is an enhanced version of the handheld emWave PSR. Naturally, it retains all the portability of the original, but now you can plug it into your home or any other computer. Download and review previous sessions, run new sessions that display real-time heart rhythm, or play one of emWave2’s interactive coherence-building games.

The emWave2 technology is based on the coherence breakthrough. Research shows the state of coherence, indicated by a synchronizing of the heart, brain and autonomic nervous system, has many mental, emotional and physical benefits, including improved performance, health and emotional well-being.

Learn how practicing with emWave2 five to ten minutes per day can help you build inner resilience and bring greater ease and mental and emotional flexibility to your life at www.heartmath.org/training/emwave/emwave2.html. Also, visit the emWave2 page in the Institute of HeartMath’s online store at http://store.heartmath.org/emWave2/emWave2-handheld.
