Heart-Based Education Sponsorship Fund

INTRODUCTION: The Institute of HeartMath instills compassion, confidence and inspiration in students and teachers by giving them effective tools for achieving positive classroom outcomes. Students learn positive classroom and social behavior and how to manage emotions, respect others’ viewpoints and make responsible decisions. The Heart-Based Education Sponsorship Fund provides financial assistance to students and teachers who otherwise would not have access to HeartMath’s life-changing programs, tools and technology.

Teachers

Teachers

Teachers and other educators play an integral role in teaching and promoting the emotional development that help children academically and socially. The Institute of HeartMath trains teachers, administrators and support staff how to balance and manage emotions, build resiliency and rekindle their motivation.

How You Can Help

With your support, we can build a new and exciting culture of heart-based learning, where healthy, balanced children can prepare for the changes and challenges of the 21st century and the quest to make the world a better place. Your financial support also will help equip teachers with highly effective tools to help their students succeed.

Ways to Help

Donate to the Institute of HeartMath Education Sponsorship Fund and put our heart-based educational programs and technology into the hands of teachers and students of all ages.

Fulfill our Wish List: To help reduce program expenses, we often need the donation of supplies, services and/or equipment required for research and program development.

Send a Postcard of Care to a teacher, mentor or student anywhere in the world. Write a brief message or select a prewritten note to send in an e-postcard to cheer them up. This is a wonderful opportunity to offer your care, gratitude and a kind word to those who have made a difference in your life.

Please consider making a Contribution In Honor of a someone whose work, kindness or generosity you wish to recognize. Whether it is a student or a teacher who always seems to brighten the school or that special person who offers a heartfelt hello and caring smile to all they encounter, we invite you to honor them with your donation.

Losing a family member, friend or special person is a difficult time in all of our lives. Through your In Memoriam contributions, you can remember and honor them, while at the same time helping instill confidence and inspiration in students and teachers by giving them effective tools for achieving positive classroom outcomes.

Make IHM a partner in your Planned Giving and help us continue our important research and program development for generations to come.

Learning and Performance Testimonials

Classrooms, schools and students are benefiting in a big way from the products and programs sponsored by HeartMath’s Education Scholarship Program. Here’s what some of our awardees have to say:

"Today, all fourth-graders in the great state of Florida sat down to take Florida Writes, our annual writing exam. About halfway through the 45 minutes time, I saw one of my rambunctious little boys put down his pencil, close his eyes, put his hand on his heart and takes his breaths. As I watched him, I could see the tension lift and his shoulders relax. When he was finished about a minute or two later, he picked up his pencil and got back to work. I wish I’d had tape rolling. Additionally, my kids are always reporting that they’re seeing other kids Freeze-Framing before or during tests in other classes. It makes me proud."

– Amanda Travis Simon, fourth-grade math/language arts teacher
